E-Statement Frequently Asked Questions

 

How much is the E-Statement service going to cost me?

This service is absolutely free to all Space City Credit Union members.

 

Will my information be protected from others to see?

We utilize the latest security features for account information protection.  Your information is protected by:

  • your very own password that was created when you first signed up for the Home Banking service

  • our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to ensure that your connection and any information transmitted is protected

  • a 128-bit encryption to make your information unreadable as it passes over the Internet

  • and,  automatic time out that occurs if you are inactive in the secure area of our site for more than 10 minutes

 

What computer equipment and software program will I need to access my E-statements?

The only requirements needed to access your E-statement information is a computer, Internet access, and an internet browser that supports 128-bit encryption.

 

If I have an older Internet browser, will I still have access to my account information?

If you discover that your internet browser will not allow you access to your information, both Netscape and Microsoft offer free downloads of the latest browsers for your computer.

 

 

So, how do view my monthly E-statement?

You will receive an email notification letting you know that your statement is ready for your viewing.   You may click on the link provided or you may visit www.SpaceCityCU.com and login to your Home Banking to gain access to your information.

 

If I accidently delete my email notification, will I still be able to view my E-statements?

Yes. You still have access to them by visiting www.SpaceCityCU.com and logging into your Home Banking.

If I no longer want to receive my statements electronically, how do I stop this service?

We hope that the E-statement service will be an added value to your banking needs.  If at any time you are ready to switch back to the paper version of your statements, go to your profile on your Home Banking and select initiate de-enrollment or contact the credit union at 713-222-1244.

 

 

Can I have my E-statements email notifications to more than one email address?

We can only send your notification to one email address, but remember you do have access to view your statements on any computer with Internet access. Visit www.SpaceCityCU.com and login to your Home Banking for access.

 

 

What if I want a paper copy of my e-statement?

You may print your e-statement as many times as you like through your Home Banking. 

 

 

 

How do I change my password if I forget it or I feel someone has involuntary access to it?

If you have forgotten your password or need to change it, go to www.SpaceCityCU.com, click on the “Online Services” tab, click on the link, and click on the “Forgot Security Code” link. Follow the prompts. 

 

 

Will I get my credit card statements through the E-statement service, if I enroll my account?

Monthly credit card statements are available by signing into your MasterCard account at www.gotomycard.com.

 

 

When will my E-statements be available to view online?

Your E-statement will be ready to view around the first week of the month.

 

 

How long will my statements remain online?

This service provides you with the last 12 months of statement history.

 

 

Can I export my E-Statement information to other programs on my computer?

You may save your information as a text file and import it to Microsoft Word or any other text programs.
